Phantom Brave (USA) PC
PC Game: Phantom Brave
Release Date: July 25, 2016
Genre: Tactical RPG
Publisher: NIS America
Region: Region Free
Languages: English, Japanese with Dual Audio
Another PC port by NIS America.
This is a pretty old turn based tactical RPG from the PS2 era that got an expansion with the Wii and ported to PSP afterwards.
The setting is a sad sack feels story about an orphan girl named Marona persecuted by her entire community due to her strange powers. She can perceive dead ghosts called Phantoms.
Instead of the usual tile based maps, movement in this game is on an isometric board dependent on a radius around the character and attack hitboxes are 3 dimensional (i.e. you can hit people at higher altitudes)
In battle, characters are summoned using the Confine option by Marona using objects in her movement radius and each object has different stat multipliers that can give you an edge if used correctly.
Skills and equipment is open with no limitations (although optimally, certain weapon types are better for specific stats due to damage formulas)
